Hi, My name is Scott Tomlinson. This is my 5th year at SMS. This year I will be the ISS instructor until 1 p.m., and then I will teach three 8th grade government and civics exploratory classes. I graduated from Pulaski County Highschool in 1986. I attended EKU where I recieved a B.S. in Corrections and Juvienile Justice Studies. I am currently enrolled at Union College, where I am finishing my work this semester on my masters in special education & social studies. I'm a Pulaski County native. I was an aid & football coach at Southwestern High School for 5 years. I have also subsititued for a year with the Pulaski County School System.
Away from my classroom here at Southern, I enjoy Turkey & Deer hunting. I am an advid Pittsburgh Steeler fan (FIRST TO GET6 !). I also enjoy spending time with my sons Mason and Noah. My wife, Shelly, is the Special education liason at Burnside & Oakhill elementary schools. My son, Mason, attends Nancy, and currently is in fourth grade and is a blue belt in karate.
Our son Noah just turned 1 year old on July 14th, and is currently learning to walk!
