TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
TEACHING IS A PROFESSION THAT SHAPES THE FUTURE OF OUR COMMUNITY. TEACHERS SHOULD HELP STUDENTS DEVELOP A GOOD CHARACTER,
A STRONG BASIC SKILL'S FOUNDATION, AND A LIFE-LONG LOVE OF LEARNING THAT WILL HELP THEM BE RESPONSIBLE AND PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS IN A PROGRESSIVE SOCIETY.
THROUGH CONTINUOUS EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, I WILL IMPROVE MY TEACHING TO ACCOMODATE DIFFERENT LEARNING STYLES OF THE STUDENTS. I WILL ALIGN MY CLASSROOM CURRICULUM TO THE PROGRAM OF STUDIES, ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS, AND THE KENTUCKY CORE CONTENT. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT ALL STUDENTS CAN LEARN IF PROVIDED WITH INDIVIDUALIZED AND DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION AND ADEQUATE TIME. I AM AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER BECAUSE I WANT ALL OF MY STUDENTS TO ACHIEVE TO THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL, AND I DO THIS THROUGH CONTINUOUS EVALUATION OF STUDENT ASSESSMENT AND WORK. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE TREATED FIRMLY, FAIRLY, AND CONSISTENTLY WITH CONDSIDERATION THAT THEY ARE DIFFERENT, AND ALL SITUATIONS ARE DIFFERENT. MY GOAL IS TO HAVE THE STUDENTS LEAVE MY CLASSROOM WITH THE KNOWLEDGE TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL AND LIFE-LONG LEARNERS.
