Welcome to my home page! My name is Shasta Jones, and this is my 7th year teaching Algebra and Pre-Algebra for the 8th grade orange team (the best team with the best students in the school !!!). Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky, I received my Bachelors degree in May 2000 and my Masters degree in May 2001. I majored in secondary math education with a minor in family studies and therefore am certified to teach 8-12 mathematics.

My husband and I were blessed with our beautiful daughter in May 2005. I love my job and being a teacher, but there is no greater joy than being a Mommy!!!!
