Welcome to Ms. Allen's Kindergarten page. Kindergarten is such an exciting and fun age to teach. Where else can you start the day with a Tooty-Ta and end with Mother Goose? Kindergarten children will tell you after every song, -You sing pretty- even when you cant carry a tune. And any problem in Kindergarten can be solved with a hug or a band-aid. Kindergarten children will remind you if you forget to draw a nose on your smiley face and you are sure to get a giggle if you say the word underwear. Kindergarten is an exciting year where children read their first words, write their first sentences, and make their best friends.
I enjoy teaching and also learning myself! I received my bachelors degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Elementary Education. I received my masters degree from Eastern also in Educational Leadership. Additionally, obtained my Rank 1 in Reading & Writing Specialization certification. My goal is to always bring the best education possible to the children in my classroom.
