LANGUAGE ARTS
The ability to communicate effectively is a skill necessary for success, no matter what path one chooses to travel. The teaching of language arts involves reading, writing, speaking and listening. It's not just readin' and writin' anymore. Here at Northern, language arts teachers, myself included, endeavor to positively affect every aspect of the students' lives by giving them the tools to communicate effectively on many levels.
