NOVEL STAR CREDIT RECOVERY INSTRUCTOR

Novel Star Credit Recovery is a comprehensive web-based high school educational system that provides unique curriculum delivery capabilities, including automated assessment, individualized prescriptive remediation, and comprehensive reporting. The curriculum consists of 38 core courses and electives that meet state and national learning standards.
Each student enrolled in a Novel Star Credit Recovery Class will first take a preassessment test. The pre-assessment test pulls a certain percentage of questions from each course submission. Students will complete the pre-assessment test and receive coursework based on what they did not master on the pre-assessment test. Students are encouraged to do the best they can on the Pre-assessment test because the better they do on it, the less coursework will be assigned. Pre-assessment Novel Courses feature lessons, followed by submissions, and a final exam. Students are encouraged to access Novel Star outside of the classroom to make submissions. The midterm/final exam must be taken in a controlled setting.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS
* Each student must submit 2 submissions per week
* Each student must have a passing score of 70% on each submission to be able to go on to the next lesson
* Each student will have 3 chances to repeat submissions that you did not
a 70% on.
CLASS ROOM EXPECTATIONS
* Be on time to class
* Stay on task during class
* Keep talking to minimum
* Come prepared to class (bringing a pen/pencil, notebook)
I am also coaching the Girls CC/Track programs here at the High School. I
am very excited about our furture in the sport. I encourage all students to come out and support our Track and CC teams as they work very hard.

* There are currently 95 students enrolled in Novel Star Credit Recovery.
75-80 students have receovered credits. Approx. 20 students have
recovered more than one credit.
