Hello, my name is Melanie Gover. I have been teaching for eleven years. This is my 6th year teaching 4th grade. I am a graduate of The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. I am married with 2 children. My husband Brad is a teacher at Southwestern High School. Eva, my daughter, is turning 9 and Eli is 5. They keep me very busy, but I love every minute of it. Normally, if you want to find me after school you would have to look in the gym. I coach the Southern Middle School Cheerleaders as well as the Oak Hill Wolverine Cheerleaders. I am proud to say that the OHES Junior team is 3 time District Champions and Southern Middle placed 6th in the Nation this year.
I am very excited to be working with the 4th graders and helping them develope a love for science. I want my students to have a wonderful school experience while they're with me. I try to have lots of fun and throw in tons of learning while we're at it. I try to make each school year one they'll never forget.
