Welcome back to school!!! The new school year has gone so smoothly, it sometimes seems that we never left. This is my 6th year at Eubank and am looking forward to many more with the wonderful students and staff.
Every student in grades kindergarten through third has taken the Pulaski Assessment of Reading (PAR). This test assesses various Reading skills necessary for successful completion of the child's grade level. Teachers use this assessment tool to address the diverse needs of the students in her classroom and to drive reading instruction.
Additionally, every student in grades kindergarten through fifth grade has taken the Pulaski Assessment of Math (PAM). Just like PAR, PAM assesses the various Math skills at each grade level. Again, teachers use this to lead their instruction in the Math classroom.
In September, students in grades kindergarten through third grade took the GRADE (Group Reading Assessment and Diagonostic Evaluation) test. This test assesses various reading skills at each level. Those results are now in! Your child's teacher has those results to share with you.
