Hello and welcome to Mrs. Simpson's first grade!!!

This first portion of the school year has gone by very quickly! We have been working hard and learning many exciting things.

Parents, I thank you for your support.

I hope you visit the webpage often to see what we have been doing.

We will continue to have a terrific year. I will need to depend on you to help make that possible. The following are a few important reminders:


Please check your child's backpack nightly. You will find pictures, notes, and wonderful work.

Please check your child's agenda book nightly, you will find homework assignments there. This book also requires a parent/guardian signature. This is a means of communication between school and home. Your signature (in cursive, please) shows me that you are aware of what is expected of your child, what we are doing at school each day, etc. There is also a space for you to jot me a note if necessary.

Please look in the folder for the behavior log/chart. This requires a parent/guardian signature as well. This keeps you aware of your child's behavior for each day of the week.

If you need to send money to school, please place it inside an envelope with the child's name and the reason for the money. This makes keeping track of things much more efficient.
