Hello! My name is Kristy Millay. This is my fifth year of teaching and my first year at Burnside. I was very excited to get a job at Burnside this year! It is a great place to learn!
I grew up in southern Indiana. I attended college at Western Kentucky University and met my husband there. I got a job teaching in Franklin County after I graduated from Western and taught first grade for four years there. While working in Franklin County, I earned my Masters degree in education with a reading/writing endorsement from Georgetown College. My husband and I moved to Somerset this summer, when my husband took a job with a dental practice. We are both very excited about living in Somerset for years to come!
