Hello! My name is Kristy Millay. This is my fifth year of teaching and my first year at Burnside. I was very excited to get a job teaching kindergarten at Burnside this year! It is a great place to learn and work!
I grew up in southern Indiana. After graduation, I attended college at Western Kentucky University and met my husband there. I got a job teaching in Franklin County after I graduated from WKU and taught first grade there for four years. While working in Franklin County, I earned my Masters degree in education with a reading/writing endorsement from Georgetown College. My husband and I moved to Somerset this summer, when he took a job with a dental practice. We are both very excited about living in Somerset for years to come!
