STLP, The Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) is a project-based learning program that empowers students in all grade levels to use technology in and out of the classroom. Some of the SMS STLP programs include our Warrior News Network (WNN) news broadcast Program which is a closed circuited televised broadcast to all of our main building and presents the daily news of SMS. Included in the News are upcoming events, special announcements, birthdays, sports, and of course a Project Wisdom (a character building literally reading). The program is a good format in which to promote school spirit and the various charitable activities such as the Feud For Food, Shoe Box gifts, Tsunami Victim relief, and Make a Wish foundation. During this time we also show the morning "Channel One" broadcast.
