Hello! My name is Julena Dugger and I teach preschool at Nancy Elementary. I have enjoyed working here the past seven years and have made lots of special friends. This school has wonderful students and an excellent teaching staff. My preschool class is like my second family and I care about each child and their unique self. They have really become a part of me and have helped me become the teacher that I am. We are currently a KY resource classroom.
I have a Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Speech Pathology and a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Development Birth-Kindergarten. I am currently taking classes to obtain my Rank I. My experiences range from Home Health developmental intervention, teaching at a Head Start, I taught a class for EKU on Behavior and Guidance, and currently preschool. Last summer I was invited to be a part of the Kentucky Teaching Academy and they are currently comparing their research to help develop new standards for the Preschool classrooms across the state.
My husband's name is Brandon Dugger and I have one son named Brysen. We also have a very special boston terrior named Maggie whom we share with my parents. My hobbies are playing tennis, drawing, painting, writing,and anything outdoors.
