Welcome to first grade at Nancy Elementary. My name is Jessica Critz and I am new to Nancy Elementary this year. This is my fourth year teaching elementary school. I have taught all grade levels from K-3 including multi-age classrooms. Prior to coming to Nancy I worked at Tates Creek Elementary in Lexington KY. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I am currently working on my masters at Eastern Kentucky University.
I am originally from Columbia KY but now reside in Russell Springs KY. I have been married for four years. My husband is the band director for Russell County High School. I don't have any children yet but have two cats named Eve and Roxy. When I am not teaching I enjoy tap dancing, swimming, reading, and color guard. In my spare time I teach tap, jazz, and ballet at The Dance Shoppe in Russell Springs. I am also a ceritfied Jazzercise instructor and teach dance aerobics several nights a week.
I have been amazed at the kindess and support waiting for me here in Pulaski County. We have had a wonderful year so far and I am certain that there are many more great things to come. I couldn't ask for a better place to teach.
