Welcome to Southern Elementary! I am the curriculum specialist at Southern Elementary School. I have been in education 32 years. I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade. This is my 7th year as curriculum specialist. I live in Nancy with my husband and white German Shepherds. I have a son and a daughter that are both married and will be a first time nana this fall. I am so excited!!
I, along with the wonderful instructional assistants at Southern administer PAR(Pulaski Asssessment of Reading) to grades K-3 and PAM(Pulaski Assessment of Math) to grades K-5.This assessment is given three times during each school year. The results of the assessments are used to guide instruction in the classroom.
