Hello! My name is Mrs. Holly Coffey and I am writing to let you know how pleased I am to hear that your child will be attending my 4th grade class this school year. Over the break I have been working towards making this upcoming year a most enjoyable and effective one for everyone involved. To begin the year, I would like for you to know upfront what my overall mission is as a teacher.
My mission is to instill a love of learning into the hearts of all my students. Each day, I will help them discover new ways of using the resources around them to believe that they can become their own teachers. I will treat each student with respect, kindness, dignity, and understanding with the hopes that they will realize how much I care. I will hold high expectations for all my students so that each one will reach their highest potential. My mission is to teach my students how to make good decisions and help them understand that they are solely responsible for the decisions they make in life. I want each child to exit my classroom knowing that they can move mountains.
