PCHS LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER

Your library media specialists, Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Handlos, want to welcome you to the LMC! We hope to see you often throughout the 2009-10 school year.

Library Hours
7:45 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday, unless we make an announcement stating otherwise!.
Thank you Americorps workers for tutoring after school and keeping the library open extended hours most days!

Please use our resources and space during this time. If your teachers assign group projects, this is a good time to work together!

Tutoring
Americorps workers offer math tutoring from 3:30 -4:30, Monday through Thursday, in the library.

Students Should Know...
  • You are welcome in the LMC anytime throughout the day, as long as your teacher has given approval and you have your pass.
  • You can check-out books anytime we are open (there are rare instances when the LMC is closed for testing, in these instances a "Closed" sign will be placed on the library doors).
  • You can use any available computer anytime the library is open, just make sure to sign in at the desk!
  • No food or drink allowed in the library.

WHAT'S GOING ON!

We've had record-breaking check-outs this 9 weeks and we are looking forward to continuing this throughout the year! We have processed and put out MANY new books, so come in and check us out!

Teen Read Week was a huge success last week...we had more check-outs than ever and the students devoured the 58 dozen donuts! We gave away $20.00 gift cards daily and had a contest for a $50.00 contest as well. These things were all made possible through the donations of our sponsors.
Thank You!!
