We have had a wonderful beginning to the school year!
Already we have been practicing writing our names and learning our letters. The letters that we are focusing the most on right now are M, R, and S. We are learning their names, sounds, and how to write them neatly. If your child seems to be stuggling with these letters, help them out by practicing saying words that start with those letters. It won't take long before they will catch on. Once we learn all of our letters, we will then be able to put sounds together and start reading words!!
In math, we have also been learning many things. We have practiced numbers 1-10, the value of coins, patterns, shapes, graphs, and even some simple addition. They seem to be having fun with it all! Iam amazed each day with how much they are learning!
