Greetings! This is my first year as the music teacher here at Southern Elementary.
My husband, four children and I live in Wayne County. I have been a music teacher for sixteen years. I have enjoyed an exciting life as a classical pianist, teaching elementary music, teaching piano, string instruments, woodwinds, voice, and band. It has been a joy to incorporate all these into our Elementary Arts and Humanities program here at Southern Elementary!
I have an opportunity to see all students once a week for music. We enjoy learning music in many different forms including movement, listening, centers, as well as performing vocally and with all sorts of instruments.
I have some exciting plans for our music program and look forward to seeing budding musicians develop many new skills this year.
