Greetings! This is my third year as the music and drama teacher here at Burnside and I am very pleased to be a part of such an outstanding team of teachers and faculty.
My husband, four children and I live in Wayne County. I have been a music teacher for sixteen years. I have enjoyed an exciting life as a classical pianist, teaching elementary music, teaching piano, string instruments, woodwinds, voice, and band. It has been a joy to incorporate all these into our Elementary Arts and Humanities program here at Burnside!
I have an opportunity to see all Burnside's students once a week for music. We enjoy learning music in many different forms including movement, listening, centers, as well as performing vocally and with all sorts of instruments.

All grades: One annual performance at a monthly PTA meeting
2nd grade: *a 9-week class in fundamentals of Acoustic Guitar
3rd grade: * a 12-week class in fundamentals of Acoustic Guitar

4th grade: * Recorder Karate! (nine-week unit)
* Intermediate Choir (after-school program)
5th grade: * weekly Drama classes
