A little about Mr. Hill:
Hello! My name is Daniel Hill and I teach seventh grade social studies on the Dragon team. I was born and raised in Russell County, and still reside there today. I graduated high school in 2002 and decided teaching was for me. After several college courses, I changed my mind from high school to middle school education. Middle school is GREAT! I graduated in May 2006 from Lindsey Wilson College with a degree in Middle Grades Education in Language Arts & Social Studies.
I am also married to the best wife in the world, Ashley. She and I married in June of 2007. She is also a teacher and works at Walnut Hill Elementary in Casey County. She loves her job, just as I do.
I am currently pursuing my MASE at Campbellsville University. I will complete this degree in May 2009. I then plan to continue my education with a degree in Administration.
My wife and I are also our Children's Pastors at Higher Praise Church in Russell County. On average, we have 70 kids on Sunday morning, split between two services. Our children's ministry is called "Kid Launch." Kid Launch is striving to raise up a new generation of world changers through exciting, fun-filled, Holy Spirit inspired, illustrative teaching. Our Children's Ministry features certified teachers, children's music, drama, and an age-specific children's facility. Children's Church classes are offered for ages 2-10. We love KIDS of all ages.
We have a lot of great subjects to study. From the beginning of civilization to the medieval times, we are going to take a walk through history. Some say history is in the past, why study it? I say, as do many others, we must study history so we don't repeat history.
