Hello! Welcome to the amazing world of Kindergarten!
My name is Ms. Cindy Taylor and this is my third year teaching Kindergarten at Burnside Elementary. I look forward to having a wonderful year full of learning. We implement Reading First in our classroom, which allows us to participate in whole group instruction, small group instruction, and literacy centers everyday. We also implement Breakthrough to Literacy in our classroom. Every student gets 15 minutes of individualized instruction on the computer everyday with this excellent literacy program. We also have a computerized math program called Success Maker Math. Each student receives 20 minutes of individualized math instruction daily.
