It is a joy and a privilege to teach your kindergartner. It is quite an experience to be a part of helping your child to blossom during this important year in his life. I desire for my classroom to be a "room where EACH child can BLOOM."
I LOVE teaching kindergarten. It is a wonderful growing year in the life of a child. Each student grows and matures every day. Please, know that YOU are your child's FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT TEACHER. Help your child to come to school prepared and eager to learn by showing interest in your child's work. Please, discuss the papers that your child brings home in their blue folder to help them review the things that he/she has learned each day. I tell your child that it is your "homework" to check their papers in their blue folder. Set a good example for them by doing your "homework".
My goal is for each child to reach his/her potential and to love school and be excited about learning so that they might be life long learners. I hope that you share this goal for them.
I remember how hard it is to be a good parent with the many demands of a growing family. I pray for you and your children. May the Lord bless us with a fantastic year together!!
Psalm 37:4 says "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." My desire is to see your child be all he/she can be in their lives. May this year help to give them the start in their lives that they need to accomplish their full potential.
