I have been teaching at Burnside Elementary for twenty-eight years. I have taught sixth grade, kindergarten and math lab. I have been a first grade teacher for 20 years. I feel that all children should be allowed to work to their full potential. We do a lot of large group and small group activities with our reading skills in the classroom. During our Language Art's Block, I also incorporate Learning Literacy Centers. The children work on Breakthrough computers and activities each week. These activities involve our Integrated Studies.
