Can you believe this school year is half gone? It seems like we just started. But looking back at the beginning the kids have learned so many new concepts and are learning new things each day. Several concepts we continue to work on each day are: letters and sounds, counting and number words, color words, beginning and ending sounds, author and illustrator, and shapes. New concepts being introduce include: simple addition and subtraction, patterns, blending letters and reading sight words, writing skills, and many more.
Keep working with your child at home and talking about everything we do at school. The end will be here before we know it.
