A Little About Me...
I am originally from Laurel County. My husband and oldest son moved to Somerset in 2002. Three years and another son later, we have found Pulaski County to be a wonderful place to live. I graduated from Midway College in May with a degree in Elementary Education. I was fortunate enough to be placed at Oak Hill for my student teaching experience. I absolutely fell in love with the students and staff at Oak Hill while student teaching. Needless to say, I was overjoyed when given the opportunity to teach here.
My goal is that your child will leave my classroom with a burning desire and curiosity to learn. Your child will be encouraged to be an independent thinker and a problem solver. As the parent or caregiver in your childs life, I want you to know that we have a partnership in your childs learning. Feel free to call me at any time at the school. If I cannot talk to you at that moment, I will return your call during planning or at the end of the day.
