My name is Afton Norfleet. I am the 4th grade science teacher at Nancy Elementary. I am so excited to be teaching your child. Nancy Elementary is a wonderful school and I am honored to work with the staff at this school.
I received my bacheors degree in elementary education from Midway College. I am married and have two wonderful young children. my girl is lacinda and my boy is ethan i got a niece named amberly.

Science
In this chapter we will learn about life cycles of both plants and animals. Students will identify characteristics that are inherited from parents and others that are learned from interactions with the envrionment. Students will understand the life cycles of plants. We will learn about photosynthesis and that plants reproduce through both seeds and spores. Students will also learn about animal life cycles. They will understand both direct development and metamorphosis.
