Eubank Elementary School

Welcome back to school!!! My name is Alice Muse and I am the Guidance Counselor here at Eubank Elementary. This will be my 22nd year in the Pulaski County School system. I began my teaching career as a middle school Special Education teacher at Eubank Junior High. I do alot as a guidance counselor that you may not be aware of. I have individual sessions with students on issues that they may be facing that is becoming a barrier to learning. Some of these may include parents going through a divorce, a sick parent or other immediate family member or drug & alcohol abuse. Some children may be going through physical abuse or neglect at home and come to me for assistance. I also meet with small groups of children who may be having problems at school. I notify parents before meeting with a child for small group guidance. I meet with the student classrooms twice a month to talk about character education, drug education, self esteem, test taking skills, Career Education, self-esteem, and other issues.
I have other roles that I have at Eubank which include ESS coordinator, Character Education Coach, and ARC Chairperson for all Speech meetings. My schedule is packed but I truely enjoy being a part of Eubank Elementary. I hope that if I can be of assistance to any parent, student or co-worker that you will let me know.
