Hello!
My name is Annette Lawrence, your Library Media Specialist (otherwise known as the Librarian, the Library Lady, and sometimes even The Library). I am happy to say that this is my tenth year at Eubank Elementary, which is a wonderful place to be.
My goal while at Eubank Elementary is to make reading enjoyable for our students and instill a love for books that will last a lifetime. During the year, we will have many fun activities and celebrations. This year we will be celebrating We Love to Read Week in March along with Read Across America Day. We will have many special activities planned including our annual Storybook Parade. We will also have at least two Book Fairs during the year - one in the fall and one in the spring.
I am also the School Technology Coordinator (S.T.C.) for our school. I hope to be working with students throughout the year on various aspects of technology.
WEES Morning News is in its fourth year of operation! Fifth grade students are taking care of morning announcements by using a morning telecast within the school. Ask your students about any special announcements and upcoming events.
